28 Jan Two Indian Cricketers Participating in Pakistan’s Zalmi League
It seems that the Global Zalmi League is in full bloom and all set for the event which is expected to start from the 11th of February. The US Zalmi team has even announced the names of their sixteen-member squad lined up for the tournament.
The team is reportedly said to have two of the Indian cricketers. The team would be captained by the Muhammad Naeem as per one of the statements made by the franchise.
Muhammad Naeem is an experienced cricketer and would be leading the team against the fifteen teams across the world that would be competing against each other in the United Arab Emirates in the much-awaited event the Global Zalmi League.
Zalmi has got a global fan base and this is no secret owing to that the franchise that held Zalmi World Cup last year would be scheduling the Zalmi Global League ahead of PSL-3 this year. It would be having sixteen teams from sixteen different countries as participants as informed by the Media department of Peshawar Zalmi in a release.
Varun Reddy and Sundanshu Mahajan—are the two Indian players that have been included in the US Zalmi squad for the mega event.
The complete team comprises of the following players:
Mohammad Naeem (Captain),
Abdullah Nazari (VC),
Varun Reddy (WK),
Waseem Shahzad, and,
The team’s president is Fayaz Khan whereas the team is coached by Raheel Anwar (Manager/Coach).
The Global Zalmi League is a nine-day long event which is to begin from the 11th of February and would be ending on the 19th of February. The event would be played in Ajman—UAE.
