TKC - Tom Kohler-Cadmore had established himself as one of the most outstanding young batters in the county game and the Wisden Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year. Kohler-Cadmore outscored all of his Yorkshire teammates in the 2019 county season with 1729 runs across all formats. There is no question about his destructive hitting skills, especially down the ground. In 2016, he scored the season's fastest century off just 43 balls. Outstanding in high school, Kohler-Cadmore received a cricket scholarship to Malvern College and finished his career with 1,409 runs at an average of over 100 to win the 2014 Wisden award. His name comes from his mother's German heritage, and he was raised in Yorkshire's age-group teams before choosing to join with Worcestershire, where he made his debut as a youngster. Prior to a 99-run innings against Leicestershire in July 2014, a century in a non-first-class match against Cambridge MCCU was followed by half-centuries against Leicestershire and Glamorgan in quick succession. The first-ever first-class century was finally achieved in the penultimate match of the 2015 campaign at New Road against Middlesex, and two more in 2016, including a career-high 169 against Gloucestershire, followed. His 127 off 54 against Durham at New Road, Worcestershire's greatest individual T20 score at the time, was evidence of his deadly T20 skills. He had recently scored a century against Warwickshire in a Royal London Cup match at New Road when he opted to return to Yorkshire after turning down significant offers from numerous teams, including Warwickshire.
